Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Shofast platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Merchant Account

To use Shofast as a merchant, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts.

3. Store Listings

You retain ownership of your store content, including product names, descriptions, images, and pricing. By listing items on Shofast, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and promote your store and products to customers.

You agree that all listings are accurate, lawful, and do not infringe on any third-party rights. Prohibited items include illegal goods, counterfeit products, and anything that violates local laws.

4. Orders and Payments

Shofast facilitates orders between you and customers. You are responsible for fulfilling orders promptly and maintaining the quality of goods or services offered.

Payouts are made directly to your linked bank account. You are responsible for ensuring your bank details are accurate. Shofast retains a platform fee on each transaction as disclosed in your dashboard.

5. Verification

Shofast may require identity verification (including a selfie photo and business documentation) before your store can go live. You consent to us reviewing and storing this information for fraud prevention and compliance purposes.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Shofast to engage in fraud, harassment, or illegal activity. You may not attempt to circumvent platform fees, manipulate reviews, or interfere with other merchants or customers.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Shofast reserves the right to suspend or remove stores that violate these terms or receive repeated customer complaints.

8. Limitation of Liability

Shofast provides the platform "as is" and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our liability is limited to the amount of fees you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
